Product engineering studioEst. for the long term

We build it. We ship it. We keep it running.

Most studios hand over a repository and disappear. We design, build and launch your product — then stay responsible for it long after the launch date.

i

You know the number first

Scope and price signed off before a line of code exists.

ii

You see it every week

A live URL you can click through, not a status report.

iii

You're never left alone

Support begins the week you launch, not months later.

We build software that still works a year after launch.

Not a prototype that impresses in a demo and falls over the first time real customers touch it.

build
What we build

One studio. The entire product.

Hiring separately for design, front end, back end and infrastructure means four invoices and four people blaming each other. You brief us once and get the whole thing, built to work together from the first commit.

01

Web apps and SaaS

Turn an idea into something customers can pay for. Next.js, React and Astro front ends on Node or Python services — accounts, billing, permissions, dashboards and admin tools. The half of a product that decides whether it survives its first hundred customers.

02

Mobile apps

Both app stores, half the cost of building twice. One Expo and React Native codebase covers iOS and Android. Push, offline state, native device access, in-app purchases, and a release pipeline your team can run without us.

03

AI products and agents

AI that does the job, not a demo that impresses investors. Retrieval over your own data, agents that take real actions in your systems, and the evaluation, guardrails and cost controls that keep them reliable with customers in front of them.

04

Ecommerce and Shopify

Stores that convert and don't break at checkout. Shopify and WooCommerce builds, custom storefronts, headless Shopify on Next.js, private apps, and the payment flows, webhooks and integrations connecting your store to everything else you run.

Built in-house

Judge us on what we've actually shipped.

Anyone can list technologies on a page. These are two complete products we designed, built and are launching ourselves — a web SaaS and a cross-platform mobile app. Click into them and check the work yourself.

An AI agent for every customer DM

AI SaaS platform · Web

One agent answers customer messages across Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, LINE, Viber and Slack. Trained on a business's own documents, it completes real tasks mid-conversation and hands the thread to a human the moment one is needed.

  • Retrieval over documents, websites, free text and Notion
  • Shopify and WooCommerce order lookups mid-conversation
  • Calendly booking, lead capture, Slack alerts, Intercom tickets
  • Multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing and usage limits

A gentler way to understand your habits

Consumer mobile app · iOS and Android

An AI journaling app for understanding your own urges and habits. Entries are analysed gently for triggers, people and emotions, and progress shows as a living plant that never resets — built for returning, not for perfect streaks.

  • Expo and React Native, iOS and Android from one codebase
  • AI analysis surfacing topics, people, triggers and emotions
  • Daily check-ins, momentum tracking and progress analytics
  • Privacy-first journal storage designed for sensitive data

Engagements

Three ways to start. All fixed price.

Hourly billing rewards slow work. We quote a fixed number per phase after the first conversation, and we absorb the overrun if we've estimated badly. Your budget is a commitment, not an estimate.

SaaS or AI product

6–10 weeks

Best if you need revenue from this product, not just a prototype.

  • Accounts, billing and a product your first customers can pay for
  • The core workflow on your real data — no demo prompts, no fake seeds
  • Evaluation and cost controls so AI quality and spend stay measurable
  • Monitoring, alerting and a rollback path we've actually tested

Cross-platform mobile

5–8 weeks

Best if you'd otherwise pay two teams to build the same app twice.

  • iOS and Android from one codebase, submitted to both stores for you
  • Auth, push, offline handling and in-app purchases where you need them
  • A back end designed alongside the app, not bolted on three weeks later
  • Over-the-air updates, so small fixes skip store review

Ecommerce or rescue

3–6 weeks

Best if something is already broken, stalled or costing you sales.

  • Shopify storefronts, headless builds and private apps
  • APIs and data models designed for next year, not just this sprint
  • Payments, webhooks and integrations with the tools you run on
  • Or: taking over a stalled build and finally getting it shipped
support
Support and maintenance

The question nobody asks until it's too late.

Who fixes it at 2am when checkout stops working? For most agency builds the honest answer is nobody, and you find that out on your worst day. Every project we deliver includes a care plan, so there is always a named engineer responsible for keeping your product alive.

Incident response

When production breaks, a named engineer picks it up inside your response window, fixes it, and sends a written root cause afterwards.

Monitoring and alerting

Uptime checks, error tracking and performance budgets on every critical path. We get paged before your customers ever notice.

Bug fixes included

Anything we built that doesn't behave as specified gets fixed at no extra charge, for as long as your plan runs. No arguing over invoices.

Ongoing enhancements

Reserved engineering time every month for the improvements your roadmap keeps producing. Unused time rolls over once.

Security and dependencies

Patching, dependency upgrades and framework migrations handled quietly, before they become an emergency or an audit finding.

Backups and reporting

Automated backups with restores actually tested, plus a monthly report on uptime, errors, spend and everything we changed.

Priced on what we're protecting.

Support cost depends on how critical the product is, how fast you need us, and how much we're improving each month. Tell us what you've got and you'll have a quote back within one business day.

process
How it runs

You will never wonder where your project stands.

Five steps, and you can walk away after any of them. Nothing is locked in before you've seen exactly what you're buying.

Get in touch

Send us what you're building, who it's for and what's blocking it. You'll hear back within one business day, and we'll say plainly if we're the wrong studio.

Written proposal

What ships, what doesn't, what it costs and when it lands. Fixed per phase and agreed before anyone starts, so the number cannot move underneath you.

Build

A working demo on a live URL every single week. You use the product as it grows, catch problems early, and change direction while it's still cheap to.

Launch

Deployment, monitoring, documentation and a handover session. The repository and every account are in your name from day one — you're never locked to us.

Care

A support plan takes over the week you go live, so there is never a gap between shipping and someone being responsible for it.

stack

Proven tools. No experiments on your budget.

We use a small set of technologies deeply instead of a long list shallowly. Fewer surprises, faster delivery, and a codebase any competent developer can pick up if you ever move on from us.

why us
Why webfoundryhq

Senior only. Small on purpose.

Big agencies sell you a senior team and staff the work with juniors. We can't do that, because there are no juniors here to hide behind.

01

You brief the builders

The people in your kickoff call are the people writing the code. Nothing is lost relaying your product to a team you never meet.

02

Fixed, never hourly

A number per phase, agreed before work starts. No overhead buried in a timesheet you have no way to audit.

03

We stay responsible

Every build includes a care plan. We don't vanish after launch and leave you hunting for a maintenance developer at the worst moment.

questions
Before you ask

The things every client asks us first.

Straight answers, so you don't have to book a call to find out whether we're a fit.

let's talk
Start here

Let's build something worth launching.

A paragraph is enough to start. Email us what you're building and you'll get a reply within one business day — a written proposal with scope, price and dates if it's a fit, or a straight answer and a better recommendation if it isn't.

hello@webfoundryhq.com

One business day

Every enquiry gets a real reply from an engineer, not an auto-responder.

No obligation

A proposal costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

An honest answer

If we're the wrong studio, we'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
